EcoTank Fire Launch
Rotovedras, presented at Villa Pampilhosa Hotel, in Pampilhosa da Serra, its newest innovation for fire prevention and combat, the EcoTank Fire.
This is a tank that collects, treats, and stores rainwater, allowing local refilling of the vehicles involved in primary firefighting in places of difficult access. Produced by the rotomoulding process in polyethylene, a 100% recyclable and anti-corrosion material which gives it high resistance to impacts and weathering.
A geolocation mechanism was implemented, controlled through a web application. The idea is to be a solution for the teams out in the field so that they can locate the nearest reservoir so that they can effectively fight a potential fire outbreak.
In this sense, a communication solution was developed based on measuring the level of the reservoirs, with a direct connection to a centralized supervision post, so that it can guide the teams on the ground, giving them the coordinates of the most appropriate reservoirs for each situation.
